thank god it's friday
i've been out of sorts these past few days, mostly because of work.i feel like i'm still not heading anywhere or proving myself. and my brain?ugh!it's gotten flabby and out of shape because it hasn't been given a proper workout.i didn't spend the last four years of my life straining myself over differentials, sockets and threads just to be a glorified tester!or as they would call it, quality assurance.whatever!it's still a no-brainer job and i, i want something more than that.i can do more than that.
my other officemates and my parents tell me i should just take it easy and do what i have to do the best that i can.i tried, really, but it gets frustrating especially when you know you're capable of something more than that but you're just not given the chance to prove yourself.i'm deteriorating and i'm only 21.what'll i be when i turn 40?invisible?
and so because work no longer offers any challenge for me, i will make challenges for myself.haha!not surprisingly, the first thing that i thought about is going back to writing and maybe, just maybe, getting published and getting into a workshop. note to self, ask around which publications i can contribute articles to.
and of course, i couldn't help but think that maybe i should get a pda while i'm at it. and i can learn programming for mobile devices like a pda. yes, yes, i'm turning into a geek.
then, i'm thinking of taking up ice-skating lessons or maybe dance lessons. although it'll probably mean i'd have to buy my own skates.yikes!i wonder how much that would cost. no gym for me.and no badminton either.
i could continue tinkering with beads and paper. i got two hobby books on making beaded jewelry and flower origami. at home, you can see, what looks like a rose that's been crumpled to death and necklaces, bracelets and earrings in rainbow color.
i'm still trying to come up with things that i can do.help!i just hope it's ok (read cheap and not boring).
