picks of the week

i am not a huge fan of korean telenovelas or chinovelas for that matter.although i admit i spent an entire weekend in bed watching meteor garden 1 and endless love 3.but you have to watch my little bride,a korean romantic comedy about a 15-year-old highschool girl and a 24-year-old college guy who were forced into marriage because of the dying grandfather's wish.
i was reluctant to watch it at first despite a gushing review from my tita's friend but having watched sex and the city too many times, i decided to check out the film when i cam home and found it among the stack of dvds at home. and i loved it so much, i ended up watching it twice and wishing i had a slightly older childhood friend who my parents will arrange for me to marry.

also, i've been watching old episodes of wonder woman after my tita stumbled across some vcds in quiapo, piracy heaven.the effects and the set designs are obviously retro and are definitely no match for the matrix and spiderman.she characters are ridiculous and exaggerated beyond belief and the storyline is so predictable. but despite or because of these flaws and its attempt to please, it becomes appealing and still manages to amuse me.now i suddenly miss the shows i watch as a kid like bioman.anyone have any ideas where i can get the complete series?
